PERAN ULAMA DALAM MENINGKATKAN KESADARAN PEMILIH PADA PEMILU PRESIDEN DAN WAKIL PRESIDEN RI TAHUN 2014 DI KABUPATEN DEMAK

Abstract


Negara Indonesia merupakan negara yang berkedaulatan rakyat, sebagai negara yang berkedaulatan rakyat tentunya selalu mengedepankan demokrasi rakyat dalam proses demokrasi. Pengejawantahan demokrasi rakyat dapat terlihat dalam proses pemilihan langsung Presiden dan Wakil Presiden Republik Indonesia Tahun 2014. Pemilihan Umum yang merupakan gawe besar negara Indonesia diharapkan dimanfaatkan oleh rakyat untuk menyalurkan aspirasinya dalam memilih wakil- wakilnya maupun pemimpin. Penyaluran aspirasi rakyat dalam memiih membutuhkan kesadaran dari rakya itu sendiri, tetapi untuk mendorong kesadaran rakyat untuk memilih bukanlah hal yang mudah, hal ini disebabkan akumulasi rasa kekecewaan rakyat akan para wakil dan pemimpin yang dianggap hanya mudah berjanji saja dan tidak pernah mendengar terhadap aspirasi mereka. Maka untuk memotifasi kesadaran pemilih dalam pemilu Presiden dan Wakil Presiden RI di kabupate Demak dibutuhkan peran Ulama sebagai seorang figur yang masih didengar fatwa-fatwanya oleh rakyat. Peran ulama diharapkan agar aspirasi rakyat dalam memilih semakin meningkat yang dapat berimplikasi pada perolehan suara pada pemilu. Karena keberhasilan pemilu bukan terletak pada berapa besarnya prosentase perolehan suara pemenang pemilu, tetapi berapa besar aspirasi rakyat dalam memilih, hal ini membuktikan tingkat kesadaran pemilih semakin meningkat.

THE ROLE OF ULAMA IN INCREASING VOTER AWARENESS ON PRESIDENT AND VICE ELECTION

2014 IN DEMAK REGENCY. Indonesia is a country of the people sovereignty, as a sovereign state, Indonesia must always put peoples democracy in the democratic process. The embodiment of peoples democracy can be seen in the process of direct election of the President and Vice-President of the Republic of Indonesia Year 2014 General Election which is great event of Indonesia is expected to be utilized by the people to express their aspirations in choosing their representatives and leaders. The Delivery of the aspirations of the people in making choice requires awareness, while encouraging awareness of the people to choose is not easy, this is due to the accumulation of a sense of disappointment of the people will be the representatives and leaders who are considered easy promises and never heard against their aspirations. So to motivate awareness of voters in the election of President and Vice President in Demak regency takes the role of Ulema as a figure-fatwa fatwa still be heard by the people.
