Abstract


Abstract: This study aims to determine: 1) The application ofcooperative learning strategies in social studies class V in MIManba Falah Sidorejo Pamotan Apex Academic Year 2013, 2)Ability to think of students in social studies classes V in MI ManbaSidorejo Pamotan Apex Falah School Year 2013 , 3) Correlationbetween cooperative learning strategies with students thinkingskills in social studies class V in MI Manba Falah SidorejoPamotan Apex academic year.This study uses a quantitative method with correlation techniques.The subjects of the study, the population in this study sebnyak37 people by using random sampling techniques. Collecting databy using a questionnaire to investigate the implementation ofcooperative bembelajaran strategy (X), and test instrument todetermine the students thinking skills (Y). To obtain objective dataquestionnaire instrument / test it before using it first tested thevalidity.From the discussion in this study it can be seen the relationshipbetween cooperative learning strategies with students thinkingskills in social studies class V in MI Manba Falah SidorejoPamotan Apex academic year 2013 is positive and significant.This is evidenced by the level of correlation of r xy = 0804 and thelevel of cooperative learning strategies on students thinking skillsare 0,64x100% = 64%. The relationship of cooperative learningstrategies with students thinking skills in social studies class V inMI Manba Falah Sidorejo Pamotan Apex Academic Year 2013was very real, Cooperative learning strategies are applicable in Subjects SocialClass V in MI Manba Falah Sidorejo Pamotan Apex AcademicYear 2013, utilizing a variety of learning methods, learning in groupdiscussions to solve a problem, and help call now other as members of the group have difficulty in a particular matter. In this case theuse of cooperative learning strategies in Subjects Social Class V inMI Manba Falah Sidorejo Pamotan Apex academic year 2013included in both categories.
