Author Guidelines

WRITING GUIDELINES

Community Development: Jurnal Pengembangan Masyarakat Islam only contains articles that meet the following requirements:

  • The article should be related to a specified scope, an original work (not containing plagiarism or data febrication) and is a summary of scientific papers of research that have not been published or not in the process of publishing.
  • Articles are written in Indonesian with the following conditions: A4 paper size, 4 cm left-up margin, right-down 3 cm, article length between 15 to 25 pages, typed with space 1.5 using Minion Pro font type 12 pt.
  • Articles are written with systematics as follows:

TITLE

:

Clear and reflect content (between 5 to 12 words)

AUTHOR IDENTITY

:

  • Full name of author without title
  • Institution of origin
  • Email address

ABSTRACT

:

  • Abstracts are written in 2 languages (Indonesian and English only in italic form )
  • Content (objectives, concepts, methods, and results) of 100 to 150 words with 1 spaced format
  • Keyword 3 sd 5 words or phrases
A. INTRODUCTION

:

Includes background-formulation of problem-research methods

B. DISCUSSION

:

Includes the results of the research findings / analysis, written with sub-sections appropriate to the topic's needs

C. CONCLUDE

:

Is the essence of the essence of the discussion and at least able to explain the research question

BIBLIOGRAPHY

:

In accordance with Community Development Journal writing guidelines

  • The source of the quotation is written in the middle-note form  , following the following: Shihab, Quraish. Revealing the Divine Tabernacle (Jakarta: Lentera Hati, 1999); Written (Shihab, 1999)
  • The writing of bibliography follows the following format:

  • The bibliography is written in alphabetical order.
  • Transliteration follows predetermined guidelines (see cover page of the end)

Manuscripts sent in Rich Text Format ( rtf) format .

 

Step-by-step submit:

  1. The author who will submit the manuscript to the journal site must register online independently on the "list" or "register" menu. If you have difficulty contacting the editorial secretariat at email: comdevpmi@iainkudus.ac.id .  
  2. Once registered, do submit the manuscript to succeed (with the delivery status of active or active submissions ).
  3. The manuscript is written in accordance with the template script writing ThufuLA Journal.
  4. Quote writing and bibliography using APA Citation Style.
  5. Author is prohibited to send the manuscript to another journal publishers before there is confirmation from the editor or the editorial secretariat (a maximum of 3 weeks after the draft be submit and be accepted by the editor).
  6. The author must wait for the editor's decision (the results of screening the manuscript) and the results of the review recommendation of the manuscript within the stipulated time.
  7. The author is submissive and is subject to the recommendation of the review of manuscript and editor's decisions.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. Manuscripts have never been posted or published in other publications, whether print or electronic.
  2. The topic of the manuscript should be in accordance with the scope or aim and scope of the Community Development Journal, which is the science of documentation, information, and libraries.
  3. Abstract manuscript written in two languages (English and Indonesian)
  4. Keywords or script keywords written in English, the number of keywords at least three and a maximum of seven keywords
  5. The manuscript is written and compiled according to the  template of the Community Development Journal
  6. Number of pages of manuscripts between 15-25 pages or 4000-6000 words
  7. Sources of citations or bibliography of at least 10 titles of scientific literature (80% primary sources of reference and 20% secondary sources) Primary reference consists of journals, proceedings, research reports, thesis, dissertations, secondary references, such as general books And internet resources.
