Author Guidelines

You can download the writing guide on the link below:
  1. The elements that should be in the article: title, abstract, keyword, introduction, discussion, cover, and bibliography.
    1. Title : specific and effective (maximum of 14 words in Indonesian article or 9 words in English article).
    2. Author Identity: consists of author name, college name and address, email address, and phone number / HP.
    3. Abstract: one paragraph (about half a page), written one space in Indonesian and English that describes the essence of the whole writing.
    4. Keywords: at least three words that reflect the basic concepts contained by the article in question. Written in Indonesian.
    5. Introduction: contains background problems / academic problems and urgency of discussion / writing
    6. Discussion: immediately detailed to sub-subtitles in accordance with the subject of the article object.
    7. Closing: contains the conclusions or answers of the problems studied
  2. Articles are written in  Times New Roman , double spaced (1.5), between 20-25 pages.
  3. Articles are written using standard terms and good and proper Indonesian.
  4. The writing of foreign words (not yet absorbed in Indonesian) is written in italics, and specifically for the writing of foreign terms derived from Arabic in addition to italics written also written using Arabic-Latin transliteration.
  5. The manuscript is written using bodynoote APA Style 6th Edition. The details are as follows.

  1. Citation with more than one author

The first citation: Masserton, Slonoowski, and Slowinski (1989) state that ...

Next citation: Masserton et al. (1989) state that ...

For more than 6 authors written by the first author then proceed with et. Al and years.

  1. Citation without author name

The brochure argued for homeschooling (Education Reform, 2007)

  1. Referral writing (References) arranged alphabetically by containing the name of the author (reversed), the year of publication, the title of book / journal / magazine, the city of publishing, the name of the publisher. The details are as follows:

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is one a half-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
