Abstract


Management of Islamic education institutions that use the integrated concept requires special management. In this context, the management can be defined as the activities related to the education management starting from planning, rules of the implementation activities, up to setting up the educational evaluation level. Islamic educational institutions are integrated into alternative solutions to improve Muslim resources so that reached a beneficial human being. Bina Insani Foundation is a non government Islamic education which combining the government school standard with Islamic school local curriculum. The purpose of this research is to know the integrated Islamic education management models and schools quality, the supporting and barrier factors in implementing the integrated Islamic education management models in school quality improvement as well as how the effectiveness of the integrated Islamic education management models of Bina Insani Foundation Purwodadi. Type of this research is a descriptive field research in Bina Insani Foundation Purwodadi. This research approach is qualitative research, the data collection method using interviews, observation and documentation. After doing the data collection then conducted the data analysis, with some steps: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion withdrawal. The results of this research are integrated Islamic education management at the Bina Insani Foundation consists of several points, they are: the formulation of the vision and mission, integrated curriculum, integrated learning, qualified teacher, integrated approach and school culture. Overall it has been executed in accordance with the management functions (planning, organizing, actuating, controlling, and evaluation). The supporting factors in integrated Islamic education management at Bina Insani Foundation are: 1) parents’ economic situation is in intermediate upwards, 2) parents’ active role, 3) qualified teachers,4) existence a communication book. While the barrier factors, are: 1) the infrastructure has not been perfect yet, 2) some learners were exhausted, saturation due to full day school. The integrated Islamic education management in Bina Insani Foundation in an effort to increase the quality of schools is already effective and successful. All of them can be seen in terms of the achievements both academic and non academic and the public confidence are getting higher.
