Correction and Retraction Policy
Hermeneutik: Jurnal Ilmu al-Qur'an dan Tafsir is committed to maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and credibility of published scholarly works. The journal follows the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) in addressing errors, inaccuracies, and ethical violations identified after publication.
The journal applies the following policies:
- Corrections: Corrections may be issued when significant errors are identified in published articles that do not invalidate the overall findings or conclusions.
- Retractions: Articles may be retracted when serious ethical violations or unreliable findings are confirmed, including plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, or duplicate publication.
- Reporting and Investigation: Authors, readers, and researchers may report concerns to the editorial team. All reports will be evaluated objectively, and authors will be given an opportunity to respond.
- Editorial Decisions: The editorial team determines appropriate actions based on the severity of the issues, available evidence, and applicable publication ethics guidelines.
- Transparency and Accessibility: Correction and retraction notices will be clearly identified, publicly accessible, and linked to the original articles to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record.
Hermeneutik: Jurnal Ilmu al-Qur'an dan Tafsir encourages authors to promptly report significant errors in their published works and cooperate with the editorial team in implementing necessary corrections or retractions.
