Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

 

Author Guidelines

The author needs to pay attention to the various provisions and criteria imposed by the Thabiea Journal:

  1. Author should ensure that the article which is going to be submitted is suitable with the focus & scope of Thabiea Journal
  2. The article to be sent is never been published and is not in the process of being published in a seminar or other journal.
  3. Articles submitted are in accordance to the Thabiea Journal style (please use the provided template)
  4. Every author's name listed in the article has been written correctly, with an affiliate and e-mail address.
  5. When submitting articles, author should sent it through the Thabiea journal page, means that he has agreed to transfer copyright rights to IAIN Kudus.
  6. Articles are written using good and right English language and  writing errors risk can be reduced by some tools such as gramarly (for English) and typoonline (for Indonesian).
  7. Articles have the number of pages between 5 and 17 pages.
  8. Articles do not contain bullets and numbering
  9. The author does not add chapters beyond those specified in the template.
  10. Authors are advised to use reference management and formatting applications such as Mendeley, Zotero and EndNote, the reference style is used by APA 6th Edition (American Psychological Association)
  11. Citation, the author is not justified in doing citation by copying from other publications that have not been read from the original source. For example Axxxx in Bxxxx
  12. References used is at least 15, with 60% minimmum of primary sources, it is strongly recommended to use the last 10 years.
  13. To make articles easier to be prepared, use the template provided by Thabiea Journal.
    1. Copy and paste text only, then select the style provided in the ribbon style section
    2. Save your article in ".doc" format

Note:

  • Ensure that the e-mail used for active correspondence is regularly accessed (preferably connected to a smartphone)
  • Include mobile phone number that can be contacted when registering an account, this will be used for urgent correspondence purposes or to confirm the status of articles that have been too long

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 11-point font; employs Times New Roman, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:

  1. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
  2. Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal.
