Authorship Criteria

ThufuLA: Jurnal Inovasi Pendidikan Guru Raudhatul Athfal follows the authorship criteria set by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) to ensure transparency, integrity, and accountability in scholarly publishing. To qualify as an author, an individual must meet all four of the following criteria:

  1. Substantial Contribution: Make substantial contributions to the conception or design of the research, or to the acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of research data in early childhood education settings.
  2. Manuscript Preparation: Take part in drafting the manuscript or in revising it critically for important intellectual content.
  3. Final Approval: Review and approve the final version of the manuscript before publication.
  4. Accountability: Agree to be accountable for all aspects of the work, and ensure that any questions about its accuracy or integrity are properly investigated and resolved.

Everyone listed as an author must meet all four criteria and take responsibility for their contribution to the manuscript. Contributors who do not meet all four criteria should be named in the Acknowledgments section rather than as authors. This includes teachers or school staff who helped only with data collection, research assistants, language editors, administrative staff, and funders.

The journal does not permit inappropriate authorship practices, including gift authorship, guest authorship, and ghost authorship. Artificial intelligence (AI) tools cannot be listed as authors. Any change to authorship must be approved by all authors and communicated to the editorial team.

By submitting a manuscript to ThufuLA: Jurnal Inovasi Pendidikan Guru Raudhatul Athfal, all authors confirm that they meet these authorship criteria and agree to uphold the principles of academic integrity and responsible scholarly publishing.
